Integrating Digital Collaboration Platforms into Primary Health Care Education: Strategies for Effective Teaching and Learning

Abstract
The increasing adoption of digital technologies in healthcare and education has transformed teaching and learning practices in Primary Health Care (PHC) education. Digital collaboration platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), videoconferencing applications, virtual simulation tools, cloud-based collaboration software, and telehealth technologies facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, and collaborative learning among educators, students, and healthcare professionals. This paper examines the integration of digital collaboration platforms into PHC education and explores strategies for effective teaching and learning. Drawing on recent literature, the paper highlights the role of collaborative learning, digital health literacy, virtual simulation, interprofessional education, and faculty development in enhancing educational outcomes. The paper concludes that effective integration of digital collaboration platforms can improve learner engagement, pedagogical effectiveness, professional competence, and readiness for digital healthcare practice.
